This stunning vintage Poinsettia Quilt features expert hand-appliqué work at approximately 20 stitches per inch, showcasing vibrant red and green floral blocks on a beige-ivory ground that feels like linen. The border is hand-stitched, and the applique work is exceptionally fine. From the Lennis Atkins Estate of Luray, VA. I did not attempt to wash the quilt due to the red fabrics. Some discoloration is present, consistent with age. A beautiful piece for holiday décor or year-round display.
